MY NEXT BIG ADVENTURE: Will You Blacken The Bubble?

HEY!

So I am embarking on a major, amazing, hilarious new production that I am directing called Blacken The Bubble written by Eric Lockley happening this OCTOBER  in Harlem at the HSA Theatre. It will be running for three weeks, has a multicultural cast of 10 ACTORS, and tells a powerful story dealing with affirmative action/race relations in Corporate America. I have been working on developing the play roughly for three years now and we are ready for its WORLD Premiere. I am also one of the producers on this project.  With that said I / WE need YOUR help to make this happen! We have launched an Indie GoGo Campaign with a goal of $8,000 and have 43 days to make it happen and I know that with your donation of $5, $25, $50 to even $500 we can make this HAPPEN. No amount is too small and it takes the support of the community to generate a movement. Check It Out. Support. Spread The Word!!!

Book Club

In the President's Inaugural Speech on Tuesday, President Obama called on our
generation to give back to our communities and become the innovators that will
improve the progress of humanity. Through his book, The Audacity of Hope,
we will explore how we can all become an involved part of this movement for
change. Whether you want to be a teacher or scientist, the hope is that every
participant will establish a plan for themselves to become more involved.
Additionally, we will explore identity, leadership, and current events, all over
some snacks from around NYC.

FREE copies of the book will be provided to those who participate. The spots
will be on a first come first serve basis. Join Faculty in Residence Chat and Selma for a nice dinner and some thought provoking conversation.
